Our single direction plate compactors offer a variety of premium features and options based on operator preferences.

All of our base plates are premium ductile cast iron. This durable material helps reduce vibration felt by the operator, offers greater tensile strength and a better transfer of energy to the surface. This coupled with either a center or a rear mounted handle (depending on the model choice) produces a comfortable & smooth feel for the operator.

Single-direction plate compactors are commonly used in construction and landscaping projects to compact soil, gravel, sand, and other materials. Specific applications of single-direction plate compactors include foundation preparation, trenching and excavation backfilling, pathways & driveways, landscape projects, parking lot and driveway asphalt paving.
